History Bought my SMB used in November of 2010 from the original owner. 17,935 miles. He and his family lived in Semi Valley, CA. Not sure if he was on the forum.
Former owner had most modifications pre-purchased with the new SMB.
Exterior

Front and rear Aluminess bumpers with lights both front and rear. Aluminess ladder, Thule cross bars, Warn winch and Extreme air compressor. Flat plate heat exchanger. 46 gallon fuel tank.

I added the Yakima kayak saddles and Yakima Showboat roller for aiding the loading and unloading of the kayaks.

Interior
Standard RB 50 layout with electric penthouse. Standard size fridge, sink, no stove. Espar D4 diesel heater, inverter/charger and Lifeline 4D battery.

Wheels, Tires, & Suspension

SMB 4x4 package, 16" American Racing wheels.

I added Goodyear Wrangler 315/75R16 Duratrac tires.

Under the Hood
Ford 6.0 PSD, Amsoil system

I had most of the Bullet Proofing done at about 35,000 miles. Ford oil cooler.

Systems, Solar, & Electronics
Replaced radio/CD and separate DVD with a single in-dash unit. Drop down monitor between cab seats.

Changed out the interior lights to LED and added a 160 watt solar panel with a PWM controller. Best investment I have made.

The Tetons and Yellowstone are 2 1/2 hours away so I like heading there on weekends but the Tetons are my favorite.

Was at the Tetons last year and stayed with a Ranger. One of the world's great parks. Together with Yellowstone, spent 6 days leisurely meandering around the amazing walks, lakes, seeing Bison, Bears, Elk, Chinese, Geysers, etc.

thanks for the reply. certainly understand why your SMB is not for sale. looks like a great trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. We fished the Tetons at the end of last summer, had a great time.

stremper,

Hi, this is mkryan (Mike). I have decided to sell my sportsmobile. Didn't think this time would come so soon, but I just retired and bought an Airstream and plan on traveling with it for a while. If you are still interested, let me know. I'm going to list it for $85,000. I will have it on the forum site for a short time and then have Sportsmobile West list it. 208-760-0830 is my cell phone.

Mike Ryan

Ha! I saw this on the SMBW site for about 20 min.. I'm not surprised it went that fast, I was vaguely surprised no one snapped it up here first!
