Sighting: Google Street View!
Last year we passed the Google Street View car coming into the little town of Lumby, British Columbia. It was a cool story but I never thought to actually check the website for our van!! This evening I took a look, and there we are You can't see me but I'm waving madly (and apparently heading for the ditch!)

My kids'll be so stoked when I show them this tomorrow
Cheers,
Mike.

Sighting: Google Street View!
Seriously, Z and I are the only ones that think this is a bit creepy?
It's one thing to choose to post pics of your van in your own driveway. It is another to have someone choose for you (with your address and directions to your front door I might add).
I'm just say'n...

Re: Sighting: Google Street View!
Yeah, but the van photographed parked at 59 Yates Ave is at 59 Yates Ave, and going "look at my van in my driveway via this Google link" is as good as going "It's parked at 59 Yates Ave" in terms of the baddies being able to seek out your van.
Whereas note Ed in Montana just screen grabbed Google, instead of providing a link... bit tough to track that one down.
Either way, I'm convinced that problems concerning location of the van are going to be encountered way more often in real life than ever because of Google... the possibility that someone sees it in your driveway, at a store, or snags your license plate off the freeway are a lot greater then someone looking you up on Google and going, hmmm, think I'll go steal that. It seems more likely they'd hit a Honda locally than travel in order to specifically come after YOUR van.
