I put the Moog CC880s coils with Bilstein B6 shocks and it’s a whole new van. Smooth and straight down the road about 2” of lift. I am very happy with the ride now. That big 460 needed these springs!
Moog and Bilstein is always a good combination---I've used those brands and continue to do so even today.
In fact just had installed Bilstein Short Wheelbase Motorhome shocks on my '05 E350 EB, 2wd only. They're a bit on the stiff side but the van so far is nearly empty---it'll soon house about 2000# of tools, boxes and such.
For a lot of applications Moog and Bilstein is a top-notch combination!
I bought my shocks from a place in San Diego area called AJAuto. Great customer service and I had them for the best price online in 2 days( I live in Az). The ride with this combo is night and day better
That is a decent price for Bilstein's---I paid about $5 each more from Amazon but since eShocks.com is no longer around every dollar saved is worth a bit of shopping around.
That outfit AJ's also has free shipping but truth be told Bilstein shocks are drop shipped which is good as I'd hate to pay shipping costs for them.
