Swiss Camping/Caravan Show 2009

Hi all,

I went to the Swiss Camping and Caravan show last weekend (30-31 Oct.)
Loads of Caravans and RVs, but they had the odd interesting more versatile vehicles.
Check out the pics

General View of one of the halls:

Pop-top caravan:

4x4 Sprinter by Kaiser

And a Land Rover prepared with a pop-top too, very nice rig, all mod-cons! By Azalaļ

I am afraid I had to park outside

Very interesting rigs! At RV shows here in Montana, you see mostly giant Class A motorhomes or humongus Fifth wheels with a scattering of cheap travel trailers. Nothing as inteesting as that display. Thanks.

Hey Saabman,
After looking at your pictures two questions.
In your first picture, on the bottom, you can see some interesting campers (with sunroofs) made by Knaus. Do you know what vehicle they are build on?

Second question. Is yours the ONLY Chevy Express in town? It sure looks different from everything else around it.

Re: Swiss Camping/Caravan Show 2009

WVvan those RVs are based on Fiat Ducato cutaways. Like this:

I might be wrong but it might be what Chrysler will be bringing out in the near future due to their alliance with Fiat...

Well my Chevy Express is a US import and the Full sized van from GM and Ford have never been commercialized over in the EU... But Police and Ambulances are often US vehicles like the E series and Chevy Full sized...

Here are some 4x4 samples

4x4 (My dream a ex police van is for sale near me at the moment but my 2wd is nice and have too much work to sell )

Not 4x4

4x4

Here is a good site of all our Special vehicles:

Re: Swiss Camping/Caravan Show 2009

While I was there I also looked at Caravans (Not sure what you call these in the US?) and fell in love with this:

It has double bed, kids bunk beds, and extra dinette double bed!
Of course no good off road

Use Babelfish.
It's not perfect but not bad for the price (free).
Be sure to correctly select the "From" and To" languages.
