I agree. It's been my experience in coordinating meet and greets that someone just has to pick a date and place and say, "
Here's where it is and when it is" and then see who can attend. Trying to coordinate people's schedules is just too difficult. You may end up with just a few rigs there or you may have many. The three meet and greets I've been involved in have had five, 13 and 28 rigs at them. I enjoyed the five rig meet and greet just as much as the 28 rig event. Even a two-rig outing would be fun in my opinion.
Oh, and by the way, coordinating a meet and greet doesn't have to be any more complicated than saying, "
I'm going camping at X. Does anyone want to join me?" That's what Mike (Ford_6L_E350) and I did at Toroweep in the Grand Canyon a few years ago. Three other Sportsmobilers joined us and we had a great time with just five rigs. You can see pictures of that trip here:
