Backpacking is where I started. On my first journey, I pulled into a Love's Truck Stop at 11:30pm during a Kansas thunderstorm. I thought the same thing, "Wow, I don't have to set up/take down a tent in the rain." I crawled in the back and went to sleep. Heaven!
