Magnetic self-closing door screen

Does anyone know where I can buy a magnetic self-closing door screen for either the right or both side doors of my 1997 Ford SMB? Several companies make them for regular house doors, and Ridgeway by Kelty makes them for tents and shreen houses, but I can not find one for vans.

Or you could go to Lowe's and get $30 worth oh heavy plastic screening and some magnets/velcro and make your own.

^^^ another member did a similar writeup here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3229

and another member used 2 of those magic mesh screen doors you see advertized on tv with good results, but I cant find where his writeup is. that will be the route i go when its time for this mod.

Re: Magnetic self-closing door screen

Be aware that not all bug screen material is equal. The screens on the penthouse of our 2006 are not fine enough for "no-see-em's", which are a problem in southern Utah at times. I used fine mesh when I made my screen for the barn door. The flip side of the coin is that the finer mesh lets less breeze through. I plan to make "no-see-em" screens that can be attached over the penthouse screens, when needed.
