Re: My project : VivaLaVida !

Sweet! I love it so far! New paint looks great. 2 questions:
1. What is the standing height inside with that top? I'm assuming it's a 30" top so probably 7.5 ft or so?
2. How on earth do you pronounce your name? Is the P silent? Because if so...........we 'Muricans would call you..............um...............
So how do you pronounce that?

Re: My project : VivaLaVida !

Hi there,

Top is a 26'' inches, so the infective total interior height is about 6' 6''.

My name is in fact my nickname since almost 40 years... And the P is not silent... So you can pronounce like with a silent P but adding a P before !

You're right Dave, it's also the name of a French soda... But I'm definitely not the owner!

Lol! I was hoping you would see the humor in that. And thanks for the info on the top, very nice.

Re: My project : VivaLaVida !

Somehow I've missed this thread! I'll add some pics---- Front suspension. 6" lift dual 5160's, the usual UJOR stuff. Stage 2 D60 with RSC upgrade for the big boy brakes and serviceable wheel bearings.

Main fuel tank, OBA compressor & tank

And a video!

You're right, sorry about that. It's quite long to finish an interior build, espacially the finishes. But it should be done in a few days, before to go back to U-Joint workshop to finish some work.

Here is a teasing picture. I will update the thread with others as soon as the van will be finished. ;-)
