I have a 1997 Econoline van and wanting to change out my headlights.
not sure if i want to change out the complete housing unit and just get better bulbs.

What have you all done or suggest.

Thanks,

I changed to LED bulbs but kept the housings. Better, but not as nice as the Vantange Optics products. Note: be sure to re-aim your headlights to factory specs after the change. This is to avoid blinding on-coming traffic.

The vantage kit, while certainly costing more than bulbs is worlds away better. Especially if you are get caught driving baja late or other darkened countryside. My aging eyes appreciate the safety factor. Look at some of his night shots.
Econoline lenses are poor at best. I did replace thed oxidized ones in one van with halogens, and it was better, but again, doesn't compare to Scotts projectors. Kinda like comparing an old vw bus with halogens to a new audi.....
