So Angel, if I wanted to steal your lights, they are just sitting on top of the tires? And they will light my way?

Sounds like they work for Angel's application. As far as a porch light though, I don't think they put out enough lumins. Our daughter has a set in her kitchen and I would classify them as marginal under counter lighting. That is OK to light up 2-3 sq feet from a height of 18"-24" or so, but would have no real lighting over 3-4 sq yards near the van side door.
Those are what SMB has been installing as an option to the standard light. I've had one for about a year. I just hope it will withstand all the tree limbs hitting it...so far so good.

I did this this about six months ago, and it worked out very well. My dad and I have slowly grown our collection of LED lights. We used old hard drive magnets (neodymium magnets) epoxied to the back of the lights. Then, to prevent scratching on our van, we use ductape over the magnet. They attach well, and we have found many different uses for them. These LED lights appear at Costco periodically and all have different features.
Yes, you are right. In fact I am on my second pair. I do not use them every night or every where. When I got home I did not have them so some where someone took them. Now, I have my name on them. a lot of good that will do. But, we know who has them only stuck on with a magnet-they should be easy to remove.
