Spare tire carrier

Any of you have any experience with these, I am think about ordering one. Cheaper than Aluminess, I know it’s not a full bumper. But gives me a tire carrier and other storage options.

$1200 seems like a lot of money for what you're getting. A few members here have a similar carrier made by Wilco Offroad https://wilcooffroad.com/product-cat...tire-carriers/ that is $800-$900 (still spendy in my books, but in line with an Aluminess carrier sans bumper.) No firsthand experience with them, but there are several threads on this forum that talk about the Wilco unit.

Aluminess spare tire carrier is $850 including shipping:
https://www.aluminess.com/ford/ford-...07-tire-racks/

This would be comparable in function to what you are looking at with the hitch mounted systems. If you are comparing to the full double swing arm w storage bumper price, then you have to consider the Vastly superior function and weight capacity of the full bumper.

You are going to have them lined up out the door if this was the part installed orignially by SMB.

Can you take a picture of it? A lot of the "trojan" pieces are just re-named aluminess pieces.
