2003 EB-350 Interior update

We have been busy since Dec 15 doing an update on our 2003 Sportsmobile. We are original owners and have 150k miles on our Sportsmobile. This was a really enjoyable project and while we are not quite finished I thought it a good opportunity to post some final shots of the update. We stayed pretty true to the overall Sportsmobile vibe and layout of the EB-50 floorplan. From our own travel experiences we wanted to update a few areas that we felt worth the overall effort. Adding a large sink, more counter top area, and galley storage had priority. We have loved the open concept area of the EB-50 floorplan so we did all we could to maintain a light and airy vibe in the van.

Wow that's a perfect cabin update. Outstanding job retaining the factory-original theme.

I agree that's a major upgrade to the original setup. Kept the feel but modernized and expanded. The cabinet in front of the side door adds a huge amount of storage compared to the galley swing out we have... and allows for more counter space with the stove over there. Beautiful.

Did you build cabinets yourself or design and source them out?

Great work - thanks for sharing Stan.

My wife and I did the entire build out from demo to the current state of update. It took six months because of the level of detail and forethought we applied daily to the project. A lot of inspiration came from watching hours of van conversions on YouTube.

Beautiful and I love your new layout! What you changed up was what we have always said was lacking in our EB50.

Stan,
What did you do for matching cabinet materials, and what is countertop?
Very nicely done!
