Looks like a fun trip. What will you use for a shower pan?

It was fun. Thanks!

The shower pan is based on a Home Depot shower pan. But I will be using a thin layer (1-2") of floor mud, aka mortar base, and then the Oatey Shower floor liner with tile on top of that.

For the walls will be the lightweight Kerdiboard with FRP on the outside.

I work on a boat, and we're in the shipyard getting our 3 year overhaul. I'm in the parking lot working on the box truck lol.

Here is the shower framed up and mortar bed in to make everything slope towards the drain. There is maybe 1/4" of mortar in half of a 9 sq ft shower.

Insulated, walls are Kerdi Board foam backer board. Shower pan is Oatey shower pan system.

Tile grout drying:

BOOM!

Walls are FRP. I am going to trim every corner with aluminum. Everything is waterproof even before the FRP is up, but I am going to silicone the crap out the trim.

And still some FRP to install.

Very cool job on the shower - I love the stone floor, it's an awesome departure from the standard white FRP/plastic shower pans.

Thanks! It doesn't add that much weight either. I can't finish trimming it out until I get home, tho.

When the shower is finished, I need to add the gray water tank. After that, I will do all the trim work.

And the final step will be to turn the closet into half closet half drawers. Then I will be done!

On the side I have been collecting parts for 4WD. Once I get the axles built, I will start on that. But that's a next fall project.

Poop vent and light is in. It doesn't look like much but it took all day. I had to unbolt a solar panel, which is a PITA. Then cut the hole, and chase down a short inside the fan. I'm so ready to be done with this shower lol.
