Man, this is really trick. More than meets the eye IMO. Brand new with a power cab (PW, PDL and cruise) and the most reliable drivetrain ford ever made (V10 and 5-speed 5r110). Plus, side door and flat walls for interior build efficiency? Amazing. No, it's not for everyone but I'd choose this over a used 40k SMB pop top any day. It's even got a 55 gal fuel cell! I have contacted them to find out what the interior height is but looks like around 6'. It's MUCH easier for a home builder to utilize flat walls and this could be a really great overland vehicle for someone with minimal skills. The hard work is done.

The more I look the more I see:
*Side door doesn't go to ceiling (outside) so really simple to mount an awning
*Looks like it has a rear heater
*Full float rear
*looks like the spare rack inside is empty and not underneath either so spare would need to be found.
*Title says clear but came from Texas recently. Was this a mild flood victim?

That thing definitely has some "ultimate" features. I have dreamed the dream of a box on top of a cutaway.

Oh the things you could do with that one......

Anyone know what the caged in stuff is in the back passenger side?

Saw this the other day pretty Rad, That thing is basically new. I'm gonna go this route instead of an Ambo down the line, pretty sure Tim got the motivation to do this from forum member Spurious here in Denver. Since he mentioned this to me about 2 years ago and thought it would be the ultimate set up, which I agree I know Jeremy does side work for Tim.

But imagine a pop top on this thing, or even an integrated roof top tent like Abitibi did!

I've always liked the cutaways with the plumber style bodies on them, but I never liked how the van body hung down below the cab rocker level. This setup avoids that problem area.

I'm almost certain that's a rear heater of some sort, just caged go protect it.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Herb. Take one of those cheap hardshell chinese RTT's that are on eBay and cut the bottom out of it, mount it directly on top. Instant penthouse, for less than $2k.

I like lots of things about this and Herb’s suggestion of pop top ala Abitibi.

One thing that hit me though was no use of the front seats for camping. A trade off for straight walls, wider/taller cabin. I guess it could be setup as a separate sleeping cabin?

Double pane windows would have been a nice feature.

If you want to go a hardshell route I can probably direct source it if you want, for less than ebay. I've got lots of contacts in Taiwan and China.

One other thing I really like about the 10' box vans, box is the same size as cab... so my theory is it's better for off road adventure because it's basically the same with of a standard van.
