Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
Just in case any of you need a cooler for your non-SMB adventures, I think this is a smoking deal. The subject cooler on sale at Coleman.com ( http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colem...d=31007&brand=), marked down from $99.99 to $38.28, with less than $10 shipping charge. I'm half-tempted to pick one up at this price, but even at this price I can't justify it between another Coleman Xtreme and my EdgeStar, and my SMB-Norcold.

Re: Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
Bronc,
I want to order one at this price, but I need another cooler like I need a hole in my head! One would think 4 or 5 coolers is enough...great deal for a super nice cooler(I have two of the exact same cooler in the 70qt version)!

Re: Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
Herb-
Awesome deal, thanks for the heads-up. Let's see how it holds up on the road into Gonzaga Bay. I blew up my Rubbermaid (I know, amateur stuff) and also popped a bunch of sodas last time in. The SMB trailer has a rough suspension! At least the Ayinger Marzens didn't burst (German engineering ).
Thanks again-
Steve

Re: Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
From Amazon:
Interior: 22.75" x 8.5" x 12"
It measures 18.25 by 31.25 by 16 inches.
Spend to save. Unfortunately I want to go with a 12v and as good as a deal as this is, it would hinder my next purchase as we too already have too many.

Most anything should hold up going to Gonzaga now. Road is paved except for the last 18 miles. Right about now they should be starting to work on the next stretch south past Punta Bufeo.

Re: Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
Just received my cooler. Coleman shipped me the newer model with bigger handles, etc. Even more smoking of a deal! This thing's going to get a taste for fish!
Still up on the site, BTW.

Re: Coleman 58qt Xtreme Marine Plus Cooler
Sure, here are the two different coolers:
The one I ordered, which is the one mentioned in the thread:
http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemanc ... 007&brand=
Here is the one they sent me:
http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemanc ... 550&brand=
You will notice the larger and heavier duty handles. Should make lifting it a lot easier as it should be more of a dead lift. The stainless hinges on this cooler are awesome. I strongly encourage the purchase if anyone needs a new cooler.
I will post some action photos of this thing full of Yellowtail or White Seabass filets once I make that happen. Might be going to Abreojos this week, definitely going to Gonzaga 4/1-10. I hope I can christen this either of those times.

Dammit, now I'm more tempted than ever. I should have kept my mouth shut.
