IMHO,
I would take the insurance money and move onto something else. Just walk away.
That is if you can of course. It is my experience that If you try to fix it, it will never be right, and you will be chasing problem after problem.
I am so happy no one was hurt badly and am super bummed for you. It could happen to anyone of us. Please let me know if I can help.
Ron

Wow, it's much worse than I thought. I can't believe no one was hurt worse. I kind of agree with Ron (Bettyford) on this. Rob some parts off of it or part it completely and find another. I wouldn't try the Frankenstein approach or you'll become a van builder instead of a van enjoyer. From experience I definitely recommend the latter.
I have decided that I will probably sell my van. I just don't have the time it will take for the body swap, my time will be better spent making money the way I know how. My question is "What is it worth"? Looks a lot worse than it is I think. This would be a great project van for someone. I am in the process of getting it fired up, I think it will be better if she is running. Any thoughts. thanks...kt
