What Is the Stock Exhaust on the 6.8L V10?

I just got the rear end of my exhaust (muffler back) replaced, and I don't like it. The replacement muffler is louder, and the tailpipe looks narrower than stock. (They put a 3" pipe on there.)

Anyone familiar with what exhaust I used to have, as shipped from Sportsmobile in 2004? -- is it just the "stock Ford exhaust for a V10"? Or some kind of "RV" exhaust?

Any idea what tailpipe diameter I had? I'm guessing I had a 3.5", but that's only because the 3" looks kind of small to me.

Before & after:

Stock is 3". Your pics on the left looks stock.

There's actually very few aftermarket mufflers that allow the V10 to sound decent. It's firing order means any straight-through exhausts make it just sounds like a loud ricer (it fires like twin inline 5's). The good mufflers have resonance chambers to add a little rumble back in, without it just making it loud. I like the my Banks sounds, although low RPM with a heavy load can be a little loud sometimes, at least in the driver's seat (oddly, once you move even just a little outside the driving position or sit in any other seat, it's much quieter... some weird acoustic thing going on with the windshield I'm guessing). Other than a small section of DynaMat over the muffler, I haven't done any soundproofing yet.
