Adding a window in driver side

I want to add a small window on the driver side of the van behind the driver seat. One of the smaller seamless windows. I like this small one behind the large one. Does anyone know if it vents? Also I couldn't find it online anywhere.

Does anyone have any pictures of how they look from the inside mounted? I am building out my flooring and walls etc... and want to make sure I plan for it correctly.

I think those are called "awning windows". You can see that there are two sections to each window. The lower section opens out from the bottom. People like this window because you can open it during rain and not get wet inside.

Those are CR Laurence FW904RS windows. Even though they state they're for a Chev van it's a universal fit window. I called CRL and verified when I bought mine late last year. I like the fit and they're easy to see out of but give privacy and UV protection.

Re: Adding a window in driver side

I have a few pictures on page 3 and 4 of my gallery from my window replacement (SMB installed it but the glass fell out of the frame 5 years later). You might be able to glean some hints from it. Interesting enough that window was installed a year after the original build so not impossible to retrofit but I wouldn't want to do it. Pat

Re: Adding a window in driver side

SMB TX quoted me $1000 to add that window to my van and finish out the interior to match. Included the window but still seemed steep. I'm going to tackle this one day...

Re: Adding a window in driver side

What all is needed for the install (seals etc...)? I'm sure the window doesn't come with everything right?
