Difference between 2008 E150 and E350

Can someone list the differences between the two? I have the 150 but it has the 8 lug. Just curious what is different?

Spring rates, and available motors (E150 has the 4.6L standard, E350 had the V10 optional).

That's it. In fact, yours being a 2008, would also have a full-float rear axle if you have RSC.

Difference between 2008 E150 and E350

Wheel lug patterns are the same, I had originally thought that it had more to do with the suspension-spring weights and shocks being heavier duty on the 350
But I was informed in another thread that it has to do with the framing and cross members being significantly beefed up on the 350ís. IDK?
I think hereís a few earlier SMBís that were built on 150ís, but I donít think they were converted to 4X4, and I probably wouldnít want to either if in fact the framing is not as heavy

Frames are the same between the 08+ E150 and the E350 RB wagons. Only when you get into the E350 EB does the frame profile get heavier. On the cargo vans, the RB E350 also gets the upgraded frame profile.

Totally ignorant in this, what is a floating rear axle and what is the benefit? Also how do I know if mine is or is not?
