SMB's in Seattle area
Hey! I've just found Sportsmobile and from what I see online they look like something I want to think about buying in the future. I would love to know if there is anyone in the Seattle, WA area that would be willing to show off their rig. Any takers?

Ha, love your enthusiasm!!! I am a local as well and have my build just getting started. You definitely need one too! How do you plan to use yours?

Re: SMB's in Seattle area
I don't have a full on Sportsmobile, but an e350 with a Sportsmobile pop top and a 4x4 conversion from Salem Kroger.
The inside is a useable ongoing project however. I live in Renton, work in Bellevue.

Re: SMB's in Seattle area
Hi jshelt72, my wife and I have just ordered a 2015 4x4 Sprinter 144 through Sportsmobile West. It is very early in the process for us, so we obviously don't have anything to show yet. We have seen a number of them around Bellingham, where we live, but not sure if they are just passing through. Fresno CA, where Sportsmobile West is, is a long ways away, but that's the only place we have been able to get inside one.

Re: SMB's in Seattle area
I'm in Bellingham and have a 4x4 Ford SMB with RB50 interior plan. If you are up in this area and would like to see it let me know sometime.

Same here, but on the Eastside near Redmond. Ours is a 2wd RB-50.

Re: SMB's in Seattle area
We are also in the Seattle area (East Side). GMC Savana 2WD.
We haven't done any overnight trips yet, but did some day trips to Alki Beach, Vashon Island and Sol Duc Hot Springs. Our latest day trip to a sporting event did not turn out too well. We got stuck in some wet mud and having 2WD, we had to get help getting pulled out by another truck. Luckily found a really nice guy to help us out. Lesson learned.....
