Re: Trailer Project
Interesting, are those coil springs?
BTW, while you are designing your trailer, would you mind also designing a 5000 lbs load weight tandom axle 5x6 utility with dump function trailer with sides that fold down to accommodate transporting a 6 wheeler for me?

It's a custom built independent trailing arm suspension similar to this:
Kid who built it did a bunch of research on the Aussie's work (there's a few companies in Oz building this type) and then recreated it in stainless using readily available parts (Toyota Tacoma spindles and shocks, Mustang coils).

Sure, I'll put it on my list of things to do. I'd estimate I'll get to it sometime in 2019.

Yes, I was intending to use that when I built my own.. But then I found this one for a deal.
The only concern I have with the Timbren is damping...

Re: Trailer Project
Made it into my garage tonight... After deflating one tire to get it under the garage door.
Wheel spacer/adapters on order and a pair of wheels to match the van so all wheels and spare are interchangeable.

Yep. But when Adventure Trailers wants $7258 for one of their base flatbed trailers, I'm way way way ahead of the game! You gotta spend money to save money!
