Re: Toyota Landcruiser stolen in Las Vegas
The picture links did not work when I clicked on them. Can someone please post the picture on this discussion stream?
Correction: The pictures are there. I didn't scroll down far enough.

What a horrible thing to happen. It's something we think about as we are getting closer to starting our trip. Freaking a-holes.

Re: Toyota Landcruiser stolen in Las Vegas
And of all the countries they have visited (based on the country stickers on the camper side), very embarrassing to have it stolen right here in the USA
Hope the Internet helps them get it back quickly and in one piece. That's an odd vehicle to steal. Probably some kids out joyriding in the desert with it, or now in a container bound for overseas.

Re: Toyota Landcruiser stolen in Las Vegas
One word: RAVELCO! Of course I wouldn't suspect anyone to steal something like that either, and of course neither did they, but for any of us Ford owners, ummm, JohnandMandi are you listening?,..............RAVELCO!
BTW, I've always been deathly afraid to park anything anywhere in Vegas. Sin City lives up to it's name.

Of course nobody around here is listed as an installer. We have family in Sarasota so I guess we'll be taking another road trip sometime. I was planning on unplugging the CPS when leaving the van for a couple of days to explore but this would be simpler, much simpler.

Re: Toyota Landcruiser stolen in Las Vegas
schluchtenflitzer: I am so sorry. I am embarrassed for my country. California and many other states have let "non-violent" criminals such as this out of prison to save money because the Govts need all the tax money they can get for the public employee unions and their pensions. I hope your friend's rig and trailer are retrieved and the criminals are recidivized.
There are still some good Americans here, but 47% of the population takes from us in many ways.

Re: Toyota Landcruiser stolen in Las Vegas
Reference Pictures: I mean it doesn't even have rims. Every other bit screams "unique!" why in the world would someone steal this?
