Gas prices
Just curious what you guys are seeing where you live? Local news is reporting that Tennessee (here) is 2nd lowest in the nation, South Carolina is first. This is nice but I'm certainly not bragging as I know it will soon trend back upwards. I've seen as low as $2.65/regular here in the last couple days. I haven't paid much attention to diesel but will start looking.

Re: Gas prices
In the San Francisco Bay Area (but not in the City itself), we are very happy paying $3.60 or so...

Re: Gas prices
for some reason we always seem to have some of the highest gas prices in the nation. havent put any fuel in any of my cars for about 3 weeks, but last time i filled up van it was 3.94 a gallon (a solid month ago), and saw yesterday that its at 3.89 at the station closest to my place which is often 10 cents more expensive than the cheaper places in town.
checking the cheap gas site, looks like diesel is down to 3.85, but low grade 87 is 3.17 and 91 premium is 3.37 at our local costco. last tank of premium i paid 3.90ish a gallon (was same price as diesel). so prices are lower for sure and thats never a bad thing.

Re: Gas prices
I paid $2.699 last night for regular in Beaverton. It ranges from $2.599-$3.399 around the Willamette valley, with the full spread sometimes at adjacent stations!
Diesel still seems to be stuck at in the $3.50-$4 range

Re: Gas prices
2.69 here... diesel hasn't moved a penny. Class of '78 diesel was about half the price of regular gas...hmmm

Re: Gas prices
I'm in the San Jose area (45 mins. south of San Francisco) and the Arco station on Tully Rd. has 87 octane for $2.99.

Re: Gas prices
$3.19 for 87 gas and $3.79 for diesel at the spot I usually fuel up.
Before this week, diesel had been $3.99 for pretty much the past year. Gas fluctuated a lot, but this is 20-50 cents lower than it's been for the last few months.

Re: Gas prices
The highest I paid (was in a remote place of Alaska, about two months ago): 6.59 for a gallon of diesel!
In Bend, Oregon, about one week ago, I paid 3.69... Haven't looked for gas prices.
