4x4 transfer case identification

Hi;

This is from an Advanced 4x4 conversion done to a 1984 Dodge van in 1985.

Please help me identify the make and model.

Thank you.

Regards,

Gavin

Why not just call Randy at Advanced? They're super helpful, in my experience....

Re: 4x4 transfer case identification

Hi;

This is 2011. I went to their website and sent an email request for info. No answer. As usual. Why put contact info on the web if you never answer it. If I get an email I can save it forever without having to put pen to paper.

I even used Google to search for other email addresses. No such luck.

It's not 1984 and these companies need to realize it.

Regards,

Gavin

Print a letter and put it in an envelope...

Also, more photos? I know you're not there but the badge would help.

You must be part of the "Flock" if you are getting help
from Mr Personality.

Re: 4x4 transfer case identification

Hi;

I posted the only photo I have. I already found a site that decodes the tag. I wouldn't have bothered the team here otherwise.

By the sounds of it Bmwbilo is a real fan of Advanced!

Now if they were up to date on making new customers in the new economy this web forum would be monitored and his email would be answered.

Again, companies, get with it. It's 2011.

Rant complete.

Regards,

Gavin

Re: 4x4 transfer case identification

I have no affiliation with Advanced, besides being a customer, and a very satisfied one at that.

If email isn't effective in getting the reply you're looking for, how about trying the phone? It's a small shop, and everyone I ever saw answering phones there had grease on their hands. They're not sitting at computers, that's for sure.

Based on some of the responses here, and my interactions with the staff at Advanced, I think I know who the 'Mr. Personality' must be...

I know it seems weird, but I was actually trying to be helpful.

Hi;

Please excuse my sarcasm. It gets the best of me during moments of frustration.

Thanks to all. My world would have people answer emails after hours when the phone isn't ringing. As I do.

Regards,

Gavin

Re: 4x4 transfer case identification

Pntyrmvr: I could write a book about my dealings with Mr. Personality (Randy).
It wouldn't have a happy ending. That's why everytime I see him or Advanced
mentioned I talk crap, sorry I guess I'm just one bitter dude.

IheartDieselVans: I'm glad you are happy with your van, I guess you got
lucky, or you've never seen a van that was converted by a professional.

As you were, carry on.
