Re: Anyone used National Springs in El Cajon, CA?

Just dropped it off. Ben showed me the spring pack and said he would take some pics side by side before install. He also showed me a grid of each spring in the pack and it's spec. Have back late afternoon for a report. There were 10 or springs getting ready for install next to mine. All different sizes, lengths and number of springs per pack.

Ok we worked it out with Jeff and you just need to tell them what and when you need it.

one this is to really do a good once over when picking up the van. I missed that the axel was moved back and had to take it back for the to swap out the mains and move it up 5/8 of a inch. Looking at photos of the van it looks like the axel was setting back before the new springs but these pushed it back more. The good thing is Jeff had them in a week. Check all the bolts and ask if they had any fitment issues( they might not bring it to your attention) like exhoust might get hit with the spring when it drops out( not sure how Im going to fix it or if I really need to)

Ok the ride is 1000 time better and I thought it was good before. 75 on a bumpy freeway and the coffe cups in the sink dont rattle( well I cant hear them anyway). much more stable side to side when pulling out of driveways.

Jeff said it will sag about 1/2 a inch it should be perfect once it does.

now you all want pictures.

before

after

Hey Steve, still working on getting them adjusted. They are going to make some adjustments and I have not had time to take it back in for that yet.
