So you're saying he's better off spending more time in the other lane when he's trying to pass a truck?
I prefer to get by as quick as I can. My E350 had a 100 MPH governor which drove me nuts, so I fixed that with a programmer.
Carringb, glad you found a solution to your problem. Every driver has his preferences.
Remember that the tortoise will always get to his destination.
For me it's not a question of how fast you get there but what you see along the way.
I'm not saying you shouldn't pass slow moving vehicles when the opportunity exists but there should be a safe limit. I wouldn't exceed 80mph in a passenger car designed to go faster yet alone a high profile van like a sprinter with a high center of gravity. I don't care what the speed limit is. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a conservative driver. I used to do a lot of stupid reckless things in cars as a teenager. I'm glad I've outgrown that desire. Just a different take on driving habits not meant to offend anyone.
