Just to clarify...TJ did a few front end swaps, or intercoolers?

Front end swaps. He does full build outs, interior/exterior, installs SMB pop tops, etc.

Thanks for the link. What is involved with the hood latch modification? There was a mention of modifications but I didn’t see what was done.

What is the best source of finding the parts needed?

I did mine a couple years ago. There is no hood latch modification needed if you get all the associated parts off of your donor van. Including the hood latch cable, as well as the sheet metal cross piece that the latch is bolted to. You only have to do a hood latch modification if you try to use your existing latch and the piece its bolted to. Just goto your pick and pull and yank literally everything thats bolted to the radiator support and you will have all your bases covered.

You definitely don’t need to create a latch bracket but I didn’t want to have to unhook everything. I believe if you do make a bracket it leaves more space for an inter cooler if you go that route. I think I mention the bracket in one of the videos posted right after the last one you watched. It basically offsets the mounting holes that’s all. It’s very basic. Regardless you will need to have the newer cable and latch as the hood catch is different on the newer hood.
