I bought a 2006 chevy express van with a turtle on top and am stripping out the interior. Any suggestions on what i can use on the sharp steel edges in the roof that was cut out? I dont want to put a fabric interior back in. Hoping to find some kind of rubberized seal made for this area, so that people dont get cut.
Also search on Mcmaster.com There will lots of material choices (interior/exterior rated) shapes and cross sections for specific metal thicknesses.
You buy it by the foot...
Last time I bought that material from McMaster it was available only in 50' rolls---hopefully that's changed since then.
I found some in White that fit my material thickness and height when installed. Not the highest of quality but for interior use it was perfect--fairly priced too. Find it here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Door-Hood-T...72.m2749.l2649

It takes a lot more than you think to do a perimeter around something like this, if I'm understanding the OP. Think about a 20' long van. The cut may be 15' on each side and nearly 6' across. There's 42' right there.
