2009 RB E350 6.0L Sportsmobile 4x4

2009 E-350 SuperDuty 6.0L Diesel
Asking $82,500
Mileage: 104,000

The time has come to sell our Sportsmobile, originally purchased as a bare bones cargo van in 2010 out of Phoenix. We had Sportsmobile West in Fresno, complete the RV interior in 2011, then returned in 2012 to have them slap on the 4x4 system. Since that time we have been traveling all over the Western portion of North America. From British Columbia, to The Owyhee, Redwoods, Grand Staircase, Cedar Mesa, and The Maze District, this van has brought us to some wildly beautiful rugged areas.

The original build has everything that you would expect from Sportsmobile West. Here is a run down of the Modified RB-21 floor plan:

Original Sportsmobile Equipment
  • Fresh Water Tank-16 Gallons
  • Gray Water Tank
  • Refrigerator
  • Diamondplate Flooring
  • A/C 12V
  • Espar D-5
  • Exterior Shower
  • XL Storage
  • AGM 4D Battery
  • Solar Controller
  • Inverter 2000 with Trip-Lite
  • Microwave
  • 12 V shutoff
  • Electric Penthouse Top
  • Atlas Transfer Case
  • Dynatrac Pro Rock Axle
  • Aluminess Rear Bumper with tray, and back up lights

Here are the components that we have added throughout the years:
Lights
  • 60 inch Rigid Industries Spot/Flood Light Bar
  • Rigid Industries Dually Diffused Flood (6)
  • Rigid Industries D-Series Flood (4)
  • Marine Grade Touch Sensitive Interior LED lights (5)

Aluminess
  • Front Winch Bumper
  • Nerf Bars
  • Ladder (Passenger side)
  • Weekender Roof Rack with Slates

Extras
  • Badlands Apex 12,000 lbs Winch with Synthetic Rope
  • 110 Watt Solar Panel (2)
  • Replaced 4D AGM Battery
  • BFG KO2 315/70R17 (5)

In preparation for the sale we recently had our Mechanic, go through the van and address any issues. Here is what he worked on:
Mechanic
  • Replaced Passenger Seatbelt Pretensioner
  • Replaced All 8 Fuel Injectors
  • Replaced Fuel Injector Control Module
  • Replaced Bothe Fuel Filters
  • Replaced Fan Clutch
  • Replaced Front Left/Right Brake Calipers
  • Replaced Alternator (Motorcraft)
  • Replaced Front Disc Pads, Rotors, and Repacked Bearings
  • Replaced Thermostat

I have plenty of more pictures for those that are interested and would be happy to answer any questions.

Here are some more pictures, this is a very capable 4x4 platform! I get a kick every time I go into Canyonlands National Park The Maze District and the Rangers try and talk me out of taking an Econoline past Teapot Rock.

TBro... The pickup truck quit getting the 6.0 back then but Ford got around regulations somehow and continued the 6.0 through the Econoline model year of 2010. No more diesels after that. Ask me how I know with my 2009 6.0.
