I paid $1800 for a running 1982 years back. You got a fair price.

I bought a 1991 E250 last year for $1500. I thought it was a steal. Now I think I paid what it was worth. I'm still working on it. They don't like to sit.

It had 250,000 miles and two bad fuel pumps. (It has dual gas tanks.) Dad can’t drive anymore so I got their 2006 SMB, it has a noisy refrigerator... been reading on this forum how to make it quieter.

Mine has 100k miles on it with 2 tanks. I ended up replacing 1 tank, all 3 pumps/sending units, and have been rasselin' with the "fuel accumulator" which I'll no doubt end up replacing. Luckily everything is rust-free but still no fun.
