For Sale — 2007 E250 w/ Penthouse

Hi all. I'm selling my Sportsmobile because I can't camp in it anymore....I can't even sit in it without turning into an emotional bag of tears. I listed it for sale on RV Trader and priced it based on similar listings on Sportsmobile's website and RV Trader (taking into account that sellers have to pay a premium to advertise on Sportsmobile's website). It didn't occur to me to come here first.

After reading many of your posts here, I'm now unsure about the listing price. I'd love your thoughts.

It's immaculate inside and out except for two things: the driver's seat armrest is starting to crack and there's a dime-size ding on one of the back doors. It's 2WD and we didn't do anything to it mechanically after we purchased it from Sportsmobile.

A million thanks.

Nice van, but I think your price might be somewhat high given the year and the basic build inside.

Thanks BrianW. Yes! I haven't felt comfortable with that price and don't know why others are listing similar year/mileage/build at even higher prices.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look and provide feedback.

Have a great weekend.....

There’s a difference between listing at a high price and actually selling at a high price. Blue book for the base van is around $10-11,000. Add in the cost of the SMB top at around $15k, to get maybe $30k for the base van with top. Maybe another $10k for the basic build inside and I’d say $40k, tops. $30k would probably see it sell quickly, $35k is likely where you’ll end up.
