I’m looking at another project and it might be time to let this one go. This 4x4 E350 is very offroad capable (35’s, 4:30 gears, rear locker, etc), it does great towing, and is ready to get out and enjoy. Van is outfitted with a queen size mattress, 175 watt solar panel, 95 liter Dometic refrigerator, running water, standalone diesel heater, etc. Extended trips off the grid are comfortable, and not a problem!
I have owned this van since 2017 and have all maintenance records since purchase at 135k miles, when body was removed for a Bud’s Diesel Bullet Proofing. Bud’s work included rebuilt heads, ARP Head Studs, Sinister Diesel coolant filter setup, etc. 4x4 drivetrain was removed from a low mileage 2015 F250. Drivetrain wise, the transmission is the only thing factory OEM. Brakes, driveshafts, etc have all been upgraded. Lots of time and $$ invested, see below for more detail.
The van had roof racks in the past and there is rust where the brackets mounted to the gutters, primarily in the rear passenger area (shown in pics). This caused some body rust in the passenger rear quarter and over the passenger rear wheel well. There is rust around the rear 3rd brake light and over the windshield (all the common areas for these vans). The roof could be patched or might be a good candidate for a hard top or pop top install? I would obviously be asking for more $$ if the body was perfect, and I have tried to price it accordingly for an as-is sale.
I’m keeping the personal camping gear shown in rear storage drawers, otherwise what you see is what you get. I do have a dual steering stabilizer and a HD trans cooler that will go with the van. Both are brand new, just have not had time to install. Van is currently registered as an RV in California.
