Yuck but over the last few years the forecasts have always shown an excessive swing one way or another. It's usually not as hot, not as cold, not as windy or stormy as they forecast. So while we might break some records this week it's common to have days like this. At 4:30 it's 94.5 and the forecast is way off. Not looking forward to Friday

It's been a weird few days in Tennessee. Low 80's and low humidity, which for us is anything below 80% or so in the summer. Just spectacular the last few days. Alas, it's coming to an end. Near 90 tomorrow and 90's this weekend with typical summer rain.
I've heard Death Valley might see an new record high soon.
Summer is here. You know that when the swamp cooler starts to get muggy. With the dry heat they give a 30 degF drop in temps but at 115 that is 85 degF and it is humid.
I'm in/near Columbus, OH which is considered the "midwest"---maybe I'm thinking we're THE fast food capitol of the USA?
At any rate our weather here isn't unbearable but has been unseasonably cool and hot, humidity some days a bit oppressive but so far no power issues as they're potentially facing out west and Texas too.
Weather generally over the past 18 months has been "interesting".
