Hi Sportsmobile owners.
Disabled Explorers needs your help
Our Mission at Disabled Explorers is to enhance the quality of life for the disabled through independent four-wheel-drive backcountry travel. We are disabled ourselves and we are here to help with advice and inspiration. The founder, Lance Blair, is an amputee, an Intensive Care RN, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Overland Certified, a Tread Lightly Trainer, Wilderness First Responder, amateur radio operator, and a member of the winning team of the 2007 Expedition Trophy. In 2008 Lance led a Disabled Explorers team over 24 days and 5000 miles on the Continental Divide Expedition.
DE could not meet it mission without generous help from a team of Volunteers. DE is growing and has plans to participate in more events this year than ever before. We are in need of more volunteer in locations all over the Southwest and the rest of the United States.
Please consider any of the following ways you can support DE:
Trade show booth attendants, off road event booth attendants, off road support vehicles, event planners, photographers, videographers, grant writers, fundraising specialists, printing, (fliers, envelopes) web designers, speaking at disability centers and support groups.
We encourage disabled and able-bodied individuals to volunteer.
