My brother's Sprinter

My brother just picked up his Sprinter today in Texas. When they were done tweaking it (forgot the hitch, the seats were the wrong fabric, one window was wrong and it was missing a swivil on the driver side seat.) they had it running for him.

He drives away and stops for dinner a couple of hours later. Goes out, and turns the key, and nothing. Not cool, but we're pretty sure it's the fancy mercedes computer won't let you start it without warming up the glow plugs, although he couldn't tell what the indicator was (I heard a beeping when I talked to him)... my F250 has a light so who knows, but anyway he has yet to read the manual.

Hopefully he'll sign up here and post some pics as I won't get to see it in person until September.

and then
everything changed

If it doesn't start the first try, you have to cycle the key all the way back to zero (all lights on dash out), and start over. THere is a glow plug light on the right side of the dash to show when they're ready. Only take 3 seconds or so.
