New Aluminess Front Bumper
We went to Aluminess last week to pick up our new front bumper! Finally the weather cleared up a bit so I can take a shot.

Looks Good Ray!
what are your side steps made out of? they look different from what many of us have, but it's hard to tell from your photo.

They look like they might be power steps.

Hey, the front bumper looks great. Hope this question isn't off topic but...
Would having a heavy duty bumper like this on front while leaving the standard bumper on back eventually cause issues to the van with that unequal weight front and back?
I ask because I hadn't considered just adding front...and just adding front might be good for me for various reasons.

On top of the fact that the Aluminess bumpers are about 85lbs (not sure on the 08s) the van doesn't need to be balanced front and rear.

Had no idea they were that light. Obviously my location within the SMB is gonna have more impact on 'heavy weight' front or back than the bumper would.
Too late to get on the XMAS list this year but there's always my birthday next Spring.

Thanks for the kind words guys! What do you guys use to seal the front storage box? It sure took in a lot of rain last week and today.

Mostly, you just have to put things in there that can get wet. I made a semi-rubber seal with electrical tape on the back but I missed some holes in the bumper sides, so the test kind of went badly. Some Plasti-Dip might help- but in the end unless you're putting everything in water-proof bags, expect it to get wet and dusty.
