Many people don't want to share, which is totally cool with me. We like our quiet trips too and this year ours will be quiet enough because the kids aren't going.
Off the crowded and beaten path is the essence of Sportsmobile, in my opinion, but we always enjoy meeting up with like minded folks. We've secured a house sitter and got the animals taken care of so next weekend WE'RE OFF!!!!
Kristie and I will be headed across Texas and hope to be in Prescott/Sedona area by Monday, June 18th. Planning a leisurely drive up to the North Rim to get off grid for a few days, then hit Zion for some hiking mid to late that week. After that we'll wander through Grand Staircase over to Moab, eventually and spend the following week in the Colorado High Country, probably between Durango and Ouray. I hope to see just how far off road a 2wd Transit can go.
