What Trip Planner Apps are folks REALLY using?

There are so many apps and I’m tired of reading the reviews only to find out that in order to access all the bells and whistles you have to purchase the App upgrade. I just thought it might be entertaining to use.
I don’t mind purchasing an upgrade but it needs to be worthwhile.
Planning a fall trip from Seattle, through Utah, to Northern Az and possibly Death Valley.
I have driven on the Burr Trail in UT so I’m willing to drive on BLM roads so send recommendations for UT (as well as if you use a trip planner app).

I use multiple apps for various functions.

Rv life trip wizard for finding campgrounds within range of each other for long road trips.
Google maps for routing
Gaia gps for exploring dirt roads
The Dyrt for finding dispersed camps
Campsite Photos for picking site numbers

There are a lot of apps that are good for one thing or the other, but for viewing and finding areas of interest to explore we’ve found the Benchmark road and recreation state atlas paper maps and the various layers available through Gaia maps to be the best. We also download the area maps via Gaia for offline viewing and navigation.

We use Gaia and Benchmark maps. One thing to remember is that most of the on line mapping companies like Gaia, OnX, etc are pulling the road and recreation data from the same sources i.e USFS, BLM, State, and other source maps. They are just displaying it differently. The ones that allow crowd source, like Dyrt and Boondocking may have different data points.
