Aluminess with Warn Zeon 12 Winch

In case anyone is considering installing one it fits but you need to buy the 36" relocation kit. I made a simple V shaped bracket out of aluminum and installed the control pack on the left side.

This winch draws a hefty 435 amps at full load so I ran 2/0 welding cable from the van battery to the back side of the bumper and then joined the 1/0 winch wires with Anderson Powerpole SB350 connectors. The connector will double as a quick connect for jumper cables also and makes it easy to remove the bumper if needed.

Never thought of making the disconnect as a point for jumper cables. Well done!
