Can you change headlight style on 2013 E350?

I have a 2013 E350 passenger van and already changed the grill to a black one. I would like to change the headlights to the black trimmed ones with the rectangular 5x7 headlights like you see on cargo vans.
After ordering the black trim bezel and the 5x7 lights, I now realize that when I remove the current fixtures, there probably isn't anywhere to mount the 5x7 rectangular lights to. Has anyone ever converted their headlights?
I first thought this would be a quick and easy swap but now am worried that there is a lot more involved.

Yes...there are many threads here about headlight conversion.......do a search.

I think you will also need a wiring pigtail to convert the connector.

Do only information my search brings up for headlights is for the pre 2008 models unfortunately. Nothing about converting from the 1 piece headlight to the two piece headlights.

Check out this thread......many people updating 2008+ headlights to Vantage optics have converted to the sealed beam type, although Redoval offers conversions for the composite style headlight as well.

I am sorry that I wasn't clear in my original post. I am trying to go from this one piece headlight to a two piece black framed headlight with an LED 5x7 headlight instead. I added some pictures now, hope this works.
Searched for about 2 hours today and can't find any information of anyone who did this.

Yep, I was going to do the swap as well and still probably will but I have temporarily just put better LED bulbs in my factory composite housings.

After I put an Aluminess bumper on my 2011 and painted the grill center black I realized it wasn't that important to me to have the 5x7"s and black outer sections.

@Aldver, you should definitely look in to Vantage Optics products. He is a member here and offers some amazing lighting upgrades.

Did the LED bulbs make a meaningful improvement? What LEDs did you use?
