Power Pop Out Window Idea

Wondering if anybody has tried to motorize the rear pop out windows? I know the Expedition EL has power rear vent windows. Curious if this has been tried with or without success?

I've wondering the same thing too. The old Ford Windstar/Freestar/Villager minivans have rear motors that sure look like they'd fit

Expeditions have those motor mechanisms too, not sure if they'd fit as well. Salvage yards have more late model Expeditions and Windstar minivans than any other vehicle, that is if you can see them over the Dodge minivans.
Currently vanless. Weird.

While I'm a lazy sob and having the windows motorized would be great the effort to get to that point is beyond me LOL

I send my 12 year old son back to open them. Sometimes low-tech is best! :-)

As others have said, I don't see why a mechanism from a minivan couldn't be made to work.
