Dave,
see Andrew's post above for some prices I provided directly from SMB West... but to recap $2500-3000 installed.
I was looking to get one in my Sprinter they (SMBW) are building out now so that I could be all diesel. I decided to pass based on some reviews I read online (ie horror stories - some guy bought 2 just so that he always has a spare when the other is sent back for repairs!) . I also downloaded the service manual for the Webasto cook top and concluded it was far to complicated (and fragile) a piece of equipment for "my" RV (I am pretty hard on things). Besides the rather complex technology that makes the thing run (ie computer circuitry), you have to be very careful with the top (ie easily scratched.) Add to that my concerns about it functioning well at altitude (I live in CO) and that was enough for me to say no. Maybe after they have been around awhile in the US, I will reconsider.
they have been in European RVs for awhile...
