I forgot to mention the secret to the tank staying charged: it has an air valve right at the output. Open both the air valve and the water valve to use the hose.
One last thing I'll probably do is move the regulator down to the tank, and route the braided air hose underneath the top bar of the roof rack. The current configuration works fine but it is just a 'legacy' feature of how the project got into this state.
OK last tweak. I may paint the tank black and put on a shorter air hose, but I won't post any more photos unless there is something significant haha. I tucked the regulator down under the level of the roof rack and added a quick disconnect so the Road Shower itself can be easily taken down and cleaned.
For what it’s worth, I have a bathroom with no shower....but does have the shower hose and head so can be hooked up to either sink and run with the pump and water heater. It’s still basically a sponge bath, but the rinse part is easier. FYI, I’ve rigged two vinyl shower curtains to hang from the ceiling to the floor, and the bottom goes inside of a blow up mini
pool. Easy to rig up, use, and empty.
