Discount Van/Truck swivel seat install question

Well, finally after I ordered my swivel base on about April 5, it has shown up. What a deal, only 35 days.
Moving on, I don't exactly see how I'm going to route the electrical wire for the seatbelt switch (which triggers an airbag light if left unhooked). I thought there would be a hole already through the center of the base to route it, but there is not. I'm not sure where would be a safe place to drill or if it's even possible.
I know many have added these, how should I do it? If I just hide an extra length of wire in the front of the base will it let me spin the seat around? This seems like the only way, and it's far from perfect.

Thoughts?

I put mine at the back of the base and yes, it works for me.

Thanks, I've looked at your thread on this a couple of times. I'm headed back to it now to study it again, since I didn't see this problem until now.

Must not have covered that in the thread. When I get home today I'll take a look and post a pic.

Re: Discount Van/Truck swivel seat install question

Took this tonight. This is the view with the camera behind and to the left of the passenger seat. The seat beat tensioner plug is held by cable ties to the base of the seat on the right side. The wires are routed around the back of the seat to the tensioner on the left. It's held in place by the two other cable ties.
The cable tie in the top middle of the picture is the one that controls the amount of slack available when the seat rotates, looking from above, counterclockwise. Just experimented till I got it set at the right point.
