Re-routing rear coolant lines?

Hi All,

I've got a 40# (approximate capacity) horizontal frame mount propane tank. I want to position it on the drivers side of my 2002 Chevy 3500 4x4. It's about 10" dia. by 32" long. The steel coolant lines for the rear aux. heater make a whoop de do from near the outside of the frame to the inside of the body. Any hints for re-routing them? There are several places where they go from steel to rubber to steel, so I guess I can just add a few more flexible joints. Anyone have experience with making new lines?

Re: Re-routing rear coolant lines?

Wow, that's a big-a$$ tank. That's one area I'd feel a lot more comfortable farming out the task to an RV shop. Too many connections, concerns about van flex, axle movement, rubbing of lines,.. for me to consider doing that kind of work.
