SMB - will they do minimal build on already-owned E-350?

So, we bought a 2006 E-350 to make into a conversion van for camping.

We love the RB-50 floorplan, but it's way more elaborate than we need.

Just wondering - if we took the van to SMB West, would they be willing to do insulation, interior skins, a bubble top, and a platform bed only? We don't need lights, fans, inverters, floors, cabinets, etc.

Anyone ever done this? Their quality looks awesome - the only other close-by conversion van guy has things that look a little ... amateur ... by comparison.

I ended up buying a used '02, but I was wondering the same thing when I was considering a new or late model van. I e-mailed Sportsmobile and they replied that they would work with me and could do as little or as much as I wanted. Check out their price list online - it will give you an idea of what you might spend.

I had a similar request for my '95 quigley and SMB Texas was very responsive and helpful. So far I have just added the PH and bed, once I sell my VW camper I will have them add the interior storage cupboards and the lower bed, which is all I want for now. SMB Texas did the PH and gave me a quote for the other work. Certainly seems they are happy to do as much or as little as you want.
