FS: One for the Duramax 4x4 crowd

Sweet rig.
I'm a Mopar guy (who became a FoMoCo guy when I bought an old SMB) but these diesel GMC/Chevy 4WD's look like the proverbial cat's pajamas.

No affiliation.

The Duramax is hard to beat in these vans for a combination of power, mileage, and noise. Man the price on that thing though for 134K miles, stock wheels and bumpers, is incredible but maybe thats where the market is at. I dunno.

At first I thought this was the same rig for sale on SMB TX's website due to the price point. However the TX rig has 60,000 less miles, is a year newer, and has better equipment.

Yep that one seems to make a little more sense. Looks really really good.

I think if the seller (of the first van) put 2k in wheels and tires on it he'd have a lot more luck getting close to his price. Makes all the difference (as seen in the second ad).

I agree it makes the appearance/pictures look much better. However, I would think a serious buyer would rather replace them on their own and get exactly what they wanted while having more negotiating power on the sale price.

In some ways, I actually *dig* the unassuming factory steel wheels....makes the van a bit more stealthy/less likely to attract attention. If it squeezed some bigger rubber on those same rims it wouldn't hurt though of course.....

The GMC in Denver, ironically enough, is from the same owner I purchased our SMB from. This was their replacement all those years ago, now to be replaced by a 4X4 Sprinter.
