I only need that one hundred thousand dollar donation, and to sell my van.

As far as access, I get out and go around almost exclusively- unless it's soupy mud or storming so hard it would soak the inside to open the doors. However the Tiger lacks the same thing as a slide in, which is that "open to the campsite" feel of the barn doors- I don't want to be "in" my RV, I want to be "in" the camp, only in a comfortable seat.

Besides I've heard there are such a thing as second row captains chairs in some vans, not that I'll ever disavow the "50" plan being the best...

I would guess that this particular tiger will sell for closer to $40k than the $49k asking price. You can do what a couple others have and convert the rear duals to singles. If you are looking for a turn key 4x4 camper and it will be a dedicated rig this is a nice platform. Not a true off-road rig and yes, longer than our vans but for most like myself who are long highway and then washer board dirt roads I like this platform. Trusted D-max and trans combo along with OEM power train for serviceability and you have good modestly priced rig.

I was daydreaming yesterday of this rig with single rears, buckstop or aluminess front bumper, solar on top with a rack. I mentally solved the front cab overhang by imagining a rack there (a la turtle expedition style) and mounting lights on it.
