I watched that video last week and didn't have the juevos to post it for fear of the laughter, but I'm glad you did. Whether or not he's right, and hopefully he is, it at least helped me feel a little better like you say. I love that guy and the entertainment value at the very least is pretty high. I've watched most of his videos just for that reason alone.

Man he seems to be on target. My 6.4 only lasted 80K (about 150K counting idle time) earlier this year and the sister vehicle that serves the same duty just went down. Both vehicles required new motors and all our fleet vehicles are maintenanced on a regular basis. The 6.7's have been problematic for some time now but no engine replacements yet. All the 7.3's and 6.0's were forced out due to the CA air resources board so no way to test longevity. Our company won't upgrade to aftermarket parts so we get what Ford deals us.

Interesting videos and very informative. Neat to see side by side comparisons of components.
He never really trash talks the 7.3 at all though.. he keeps saying how simple and bulletproof they are so I don't think any 7.3 owners would be offended. He like the 6.0 obviously, but that also could be because that's how his company makes money fixing all the broken 6.0's... haha.
