I have religiously used Amsoil products - so I order everything through them:
Amsoil Oil bypass system: 2 Filters; Amsoil EABP-100, and Donaldson P553411

Why use the Donaldson over the Amsoil 26 filter?

That's the filter they recommended to me back in 2016 - been ordering it from them ever since. All the other stuff I order (Diff fluid, Transmission, Transfer case, Motor oil, fuel additives, etc) come from one location, but the Donaldson filter comes separately from another now (at one time they all came together).

Same here. IIRC they figured the Eao26 was too restrictive. I could be wrong.

we've used a donaldson & EA026 & BT347 & FL20251S and the oil pressure with 5w40 and 10w30 in warm and cold temps was above specs.
